Metaphysics of Mind

What if the old saying, "I'm rubber and you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you" was more true than we ever imagined on the playground as children?  We've known for a long time now that when we talk bad about others we are talking about ourselves metaphysically and it's actually a reflection of things we don't want to admit or acknowledge about ourselves whether we know it or not its always our "shadow" that needs more work if you will...  The old, "If you spot it, you got it" thing...  BUT it goes way deeper than that!

Remember the Bruce Lee Quote:

"Don't speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn't know the difference. Words are energy and they cast spells, that's why it's called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself, and you can change your life."

This is why I'm such an advocate for NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) a set of tools and techniques that can allow you to tap into your subconscious mind to effect needed changes in your life with the words you use...  But I digress.

What if we take the above information and then multiply it by the following:

The subconscious mind does not know anyone else but you!  It has no conception of consciousness other than your own. When we criticize others or find fault, our mind thinks we are speaking about ourselves.

Let this one REALLY sink in...  Our subconscious ONLY knows of our own consciousness, meaning when we talk about others, to our brain it thinks we are talking about ourselves (which is true anyway if you believe in oneness).  Our subconscious takes everything we say 100% literally with no sense of humor and is always looking for a way to reinforce what we say about ourselves and make it true.  So of course now that we know that EVERYTHING we say about others our brain thinks is about ourselves and works tirelessly to make true...  It makes me look at gossip and the divide and conquer tactics used by powers that be in a whole new light metaphysically...  So the moral of the story is, whatever we say about ANYONE else, registers to our beautiful brains, as self talk...

This bit of information for human beings could be the tipping point to new levels of awareness...  Moral of the story...  When we bash anybody (politicians, people who did us wrong, enemies, criminals, villians, fictional characters, family, friends, anyone AT ALL)  It registers to our subconscious that we are talking about ourselves...  The ramifications of this one are CRAZY and oh so POWERFUL!

Cheers to knowing better so we can do better!  Namaste beautiful souls!  Sending you much love and light!
